Meet Elyse Sears, DDS in Baytown

Dr. Sears grew up in a small town in Central Louisiana. She became interested in dentistry when she began working as an Orthodontist assistant and Lab assistant as a teenager and during her undergraduate program at Louisiana State University. After receiving her bachelor's degree in biological sciences with a minor in chemistry, Dr. Sears attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and obtained her doctorate in Dental surgery in 2014. During her degree program, Dr. Sears received two prestigious awards for her clinical case on orthodontic movement associated with periodontal extrusion and the Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry student award for Devotion to the Science and Advancement of Restorative Dentistry.

Upon completing dental school, Dr. Sears worked two years as a traveling doctor seeing children in underserved areas in rural Louisiana. She later relocated to Houston, Texas, where she provided dental care to inner-city communities.

When not in the office, Dr. Sears can be found running Memorial Park, practicing yoga, or trying new restaurants. She also enjoys traveling the world and exploring Texas. Dr. Sears is excited to practice in Baytown and prides herself on providing the best dental care possible. She strives always to be compassionate towards her patients, is very detail-oriented, and most of all loves working with children of all ages.
